Meet the YSF Team
Jim Miller is a co-founding member of the Youth Sports Foundation, fulfilling the mission and vision of developing kids through sports since 1995. Jim is an active member of the Muscatine community, where he has raised his family and continues to work providing the opportunity and means by which all kids can become involved in organized activities.
Greg takes care of our Mid-Iowa, Northeast, Optimist, Panther North, Panther South, Upper Iowa, and 8-Man Conferences. This year, he's taken over responsibility of our growing FLAG Football Program. With YSF since 2007, Greg also officiates for the IHSAA and resides with his family in Nashua.
Joe began coaching and coordinating with YSF in 2001, then becoming the Hawkeye Conference Coordinator and now Regional Director. He currently oversees our Cedar River, East Central, Greater Quad Cities, Hawkeye, Eagle Bluff and Sioux Border Conferences. Joe has been heavily involved with youth sports, particularly in his hometown of Independence where he raised his family and resides with his wife, Janet.
Mat Snider is the most recent addition to the YSF team. Mat will be taking over the Regional Director position for the 218, Mississippi Valley, Skunk River, and Southeastern Conferences. Mat grew up in Muscatine, IA where he played in the YSF tackle football program. Mat attended ICCC and then St. Ambrose University. Mat played fullback and halfback at both of his secondary education locations and graduated from St. Ambrose with a degree in sports management.
Dennis oversees the Des Moines Metro area for YSF. A former high school principal, his Conference responsibilities include I-80 West, I-80 East & Cyclone. He currently lives in Grimes with his family.
Formerly a Regional Director (and high school football coach), Mike has shifted his responsibilities in the last year to overseeing the YSF equipment operations at our warehouse in Evansdale. He continues to handle the River Falls Conference and coordination of our UNI Dome events. Mike raised his family in Waterloo, where he still lives with his wife, Pat.
Joni is responsible for Coordinator, Coach, & Player information dissemination, as well as all inventories. She is also the volleyball and track & field program coordinator for YSF. Joni and her family live in Muscatine where she is active with the Muscatine Booster Club.
Sally works part-time for the YSF, and specifically handles all grants, background checks, and any information, communication, and details relating to our partnership with USA Football. Sally and her husband, Jeff, have raised 3 children in Muscatine where they still reside.
Nate was the regional manager of the 218, Southeast, Skunk River, and Mississippi Valley conferences in 2016. Nate has now transitioned to the Business Manager role for Youth Sports Foundation.
