TACKLE FOOTBALL

The South Tama Youth Football Program, a division of the Youth Sports Foundation, is available to any South Tama school area youth entering in the 3rd – 6th grade in the fall of 2026.

The tackle football program begins the week of August 11th and includes introduction skills for tackle football. Full equipment is provided, and the schedule is 6 weeks. Games are held on Sundays beginning in September.

FLAG FOOTBALL

The Youth Sports Foundation is offering a Flag Football program for South Tama area for youth entering into the 1st –  4th  grades in the fall of 2026!

YSF Elkader Flag Football is a 6 week seasons  that begins with games beginning on Saturday, September 12^th. The program includes: introduction to the fundamentals of football, a YSF branded reversible jersey (each player keeps), and a 6-game Saturday schedule.

7v7 Passing League

 

Youth Sports Foundation offer a Spring 7v7 Passing League for all current 5th & 6th Graders (in the 2026 school year) in the South Tama Community.

The 7v7 Passing League is a 7 week program. There will be 2 weeks of practice, with a 5 game schedule.

CHEERLEADING

The South Tama Youth Cheerleading Program was established to provide young people the opportunity to learn the fundamentals and to develop their abilities as a cheerleader.

Our coordinators and coaches are focused on teaching each participant the correct fundamentals of the sport in a safe and fun environment.
